Human Health

continued--Social health is another part of human health. What is  social health and why it is tagged with human health. It is natural that such a question arises as because people by and large are concerned with individual health and the concept of social health is unknown to them. When the humans once closed their nomadic life, they gradually settled into definite addresses though isolated initially but gradually agglomerating into groups of aboriginals which went on to form tribes having distinct classification to be named societies. This transition took prolonged time and so many permutations and combinations of migrant people from different parts of the world ultimately giving rise to nation where live identical groups of people bound in societies. Movements of the populace from one place to another has not stopped and contingent upon situations threatening massacres for political or religious reasons there still remains constant flow of people from one country to another even in the 21st century. Under such circumstances society structure has to absorb such style and idiosyncrasies hitherto unknown to it  and so a gap of 50 years always see changes in aspects of life. Intermingling of existing old and incoming new elements bring varying changes in the society health which leave its mark on the people who have formed it. Every society has many strata like economic,
religious, political, highly cultural, educational etc and it is a common practice that people generally like to reside in areas where identical type of people reside. Naturally people in each area follow the existing life style which pertains to that area. Everybody knows it and further clarification is not necessary. The prevailing environment of the society helps to build what a person will be in future. If somebody live amidst thieves, robbers , it is said, the person concerned is likely to be thief or robber or even thug but other one living with virtuous people, may be  will be a saint and if not at least a person of high morality. Social customs vary from country to country which go to make their people in their own way. Offering of a drink ( whisky /Vodka etc ) is customary in some countries whereas it is taboo in other countries.                                                                          (..to be continued ...)
